Q: How do I sign up for a CPR class at One Life Cpr?A: Signing up for a CPR class at One Life CPR is quick and easy! Simply visit our website at www.onelifecpr.org. On the homepage, you will find a "Services" tab that will take you to our services page. From there, you can browse through our available classes, select the one that fits your needs, and fill out the registration form. Once you submit your details and payment information, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the class details. NOTE: Unfortunately, we are unable to take walk-ins due to the limited spacing in each course as well as the timeframe that is needed to pre-order ecards for each course.

Q: Can I cancel my registration for a CPR training course at One Life CPR?A: At One Life CPR, we understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. While all our classes are non-refundable, we strive to accommodate your needs as best as we can. If you find that you are unable to attend a scheduled class, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance. By doing so, we can update our roster and work with you to select a new class date that fits your schedule. Your ability to receive training and be prepared for emergencies is our top priority!

Q: When will I receive my AHA certification eCard ?A: You'll receive your AHA certification eCard at the end of class. Please make sure to register with the name you want on the card. Our team ensures a smooth process, so you can quickly share your certification with employers.

Q: How long is my AHA CPR certification valid for, and what do I need to do to renew it?A: At One Life Cpr, we offer American Heart Association certifications that are valid for two (2) years. To maintain your certification, you'll need to renew it by retaking the course at the two-year mark. We're excited to support you throughout your certification journey and ensure you stay up-to-date with your life-saving skills!

Q: Who would take the AHA BLS CPR class offered by One Life CPR?A: The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR class is ideal for healthcare professionals and emergency responders who need to perform CPR in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. This includes doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, and other first responders who are mandated to have BLS certification by their employers or governing bodies. Additionally, medical students and nursing students who are in training to enter the healthcare field will also benefit from our comprehensive BLS CPR training. It covers adult, child, and infant CPR, AED, and choking relief. This course ensures you meet certification requirements. All certifications are issued same day!

Q: Is the BLS course at One Life CPR only for medical professionals?A: The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) course is open to anyone aged 16 years or older, not just medical professionals! Whether you're a healthcare provider or someone keen on acquiring life-saving skills, this course equips you with essential techniques and knowledge. However, if you are not a healthcare provider, we highly recommend the AHA Heartsaver classes, which is specifically designed for non-healthcare individuals.

Q: Is there an online-only option for the AHA BLS classes?A: No, there isn't an online-ONLY BLS class since American Heart Association requires a hands-on skill portion for this certification. One Life CPR offers a hybrid learning format that allows for part of the cognitive portion to be completed via AHA's website and the hands-on skills to be completed onsite with our certified instructor. Q: How can I use the Step Up Scholarship program to enroll my child in a CPR training course at One Life CPR?A: We are excited to share that One Life CPR has been approved as a direct pay vendor with the Step Up Scholarship program! To enroll your child in a CPR training course or one of our emergency preparedness classes using this scholarship, please follow these steps: Step 1: Register for a class on our site, make sure that you select 'Pay in Person' during checkout (there should be no charge when checking out). Step 2: Fill out "Minor Consent Form" on our site. Step 3: Reserve funds through the EMA Marketplace. Business is listed as "One Life CPR". We will then go in and match your class registration with your fund reservation on EMA. Step 4: Get Ready for some fun! Be on the look out for an email with complete details as we get closer to the class! For additional assistance or more information, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our support team. Our goal is to make it as seamless as possible for families to access vital CPR training through the Step Up Scholarship program.
